I love working with my friends and think they are the most talented people I know, so it naturally came to write a film centred around them and their strengths as actors. Matt (Mathieu Descamps) is the most charming person I know and he’s also French, I mean, what’s more irresistible than that? So I thought I would take advantage of that by creating a mysterious European seducer who almost tears a cute all-American couple apart.
This also gave me the opportunity to use Gio’s (Giovanni Sandoval) character as a vessel to say all the insults I think of spewing to Matt across the breakfast table every morning (we’re roommates…he get’s the girls). But the most important and, more importantly, enjoyable aspect of making this film was that I had a great time making it with my friends and fellow artists and that’s all we’re trying to do.

Dog Sees God
Synopsis:
An "unauthorised continuation," the play reimagines characters from the popular comic strip Peanuts as degenerate teenagers. Drug use, child sexual abuse, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion, sexual relations and identity are among the issues covered in this parody of the works of Charles M. Schulz.
Directors / Writers Statement:
As first time directors, we were lucky enough to have a cast that we knew well and had been working amongst for the past two years. Knowing each of their strengths and trusting their instincts was a key element of the rehearsal process and what in turn lead to a successful and thriving production.
It was a hugely fulfilling project, which our actors threw themselves into 100%, and our audience members showed tremendous support towards, which we are truly grateful for. We are humbled and thrilled to say this production marked the beginning of a world of possibilities to come for Oneiros Collective.
